Daegu- The third largest city situated in Yeongnam region, in the southeastern part of South Korea. The city is surrounded by hills and offers panoramic view of Mt. Palgongsan, Mt. Biseulsan.With a rich historical heritage; the “City of Hope” Daegu is all set to open its arms to woo travelers from all over the world.

Gwangju- Journey to Gwangju is just like flipping through the annals of country’s year old historical memoirs; many of the nations democratic movements had their roots in this area that would surely take you to the bygone era of the country. Rich in agricultural and marine products, the major tourist magnet in the city is colorful Kimchi Festival.

Daejeon- A city of advanced science and technology, communications, various research Institutes, science parks; come and discover the wonders of science and technology in a thoroughly modern city surrounded by lush green mountains- truly a mind-boggling experience.

Ulsan- Beautiful city on the banks of Tawhagang River, industrial hub of South Korea. It is one of the most splendid cities with very rich cultural history.

Gangwon- Located in the middle of Korean Peninsular, Gangwon is breathtakingly beautiful, a well planned modern city, the focal point of East Asian tourism industry that offers great outdoors, sport and adventure opportunities-the city has become a globally hot and happening tourist destination.

Jeju- A tiny island in the southern coast of South Korea, dotted with eye-catching, cleanest, most pristine sea beaches, rich in flora and fauna, beautiful weather, scattered with a number of stunning waterfalls, ideal tourist destination with spectacular scenic beauty will make your stay a very comfortable one. The biggest tourist’s attraction is Fire festival.


Under the program of GPIK, teachers will be placed in the Gyeonggi Provice surrounding areas of the vibrant capital of the city, Seoul which is the major political, cultural, commercial, financial, and educational hub of South Korea. Seoul also offers many of South Korea’s major tourist attractions. With a population of over one crore, Seoul is South Korea’s largest city and one of the largest in the world by population. Seoul is located on the Han River in the country’s northwest; the modern Seoul descends from a city called Hanyang where one will marvel at the extravagant contrast between the age old richly-mellowed architecture and the striking skyscraper skyline of modern Korea.
