Location- Thailand, cost and soonest date available. Alex
responded immediately and telephone when he said he would.
Alex and Suzy were on top of all I needed to complete before
getting on the plane. Very low pressure and informative.
Excellent, informative, useful and interesting training.
Organized and fun. Whittney was overly helpful with question
from A to Z. Toi was essential for translating and Pat has
successfully placed me in a teaching position. A+ |

Dave’s ESL café brought this program in light. I had already
made up my to find a teaching job in Korea, but I jumped
when I saw the Special Thai-Korean project. ATI offered the
best program – getting to know Thailand and getting
certified to teach English as a second language was more
than ideal. I did not have any expectation going into this.
Three weeks later, I do not want it to end. I will be taking
away so much information and useful practices with me. From
the trainer to the material, the location and stepping into
a Thai school, everything has been more than great!!! I
would do it again. |

When I decided to teach abroad I spoke to many people who
have done it before. Most of them told me it would be best
to get certified first. ATI came up in almost every
conversation. So I did some research, contacted ATI and
became a part of the program. This was an amazing
opportunity that I was thankful to be a part of. The people
I have met and things I have seen will always be precious to
me. Everything I have learned through ATI will be my most
valuable tool while educating my students. I have a plan to
go Northern China, and I like to teach young people at
there. |

It had favorable feedback. The course matched when I would
be available. Chiang Mai is a very quiet and beautiful city
conducive to this type of training – it allowed use space
and opportunity to learn and absorb more. Our group was
small so the experience was much more intimate and intense
than if we had a larger group. Overall, it was an auspicious
experience. |

Manzi, USAI have chosen to
teach English because the more people who use the same
language, the better the world can communicate. I chose this
course, because it offered time in and before class begins. |

My main motivation for taking the course is to reinforce the
skills necessary for teaching English and to build
confidence in my teaching ability. I don’t have any formal
teaching experience and I feel that course will greatly aid
me in the future. |

I love language and have always wanted to live abroad. I am
a writer and actress and improve performer/teacher, so I am
eager to apply these skills to a class room setting. I am
excited to spend my days engaged, teaching and learning,
instead of sitting behind a desk 60 hours a week! I also
love children. |

I love to travel, when I was in China, particularly Macao, I
noticed mass can understand English. I plan to share what I
have been taught with them and to the people of other
countries. I plan to visit China. |

I chose the course so that I would be prepared to teach
English when I would travel to Korea. Since I have no former
teaching experience, I thought it would teach me how to be a
more effective instructor. |
Jake
Burch, USA
I have taught EFL in Korea for the previous two years.
However, I have no formal teacher training. I wanted to get
some official training experience and also know that this
certificate will look good on my resume. |
